On the 28th, Yoon Ho-jung, floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, said at the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly in the morning, "There is a saying, 'Yukchamgoldan,' which means cutting one's own flesh and breaking the opponent's bone," adding, "We will overcome the opposition party's legislative barricades that have only prioritized the negotiation of the organization of the National Assembly." He emphasized, "We will accelerate the passage of laws such as the Surgical Room CCTV Installation Act, Media Voucher Act, Newspaper Act, Korean New Deal Act, Carbon Neutrality Act, Real Estate Speculation Eradication Act, and prosecutorial and judicial reform legislation."

Floor leader Yoon stated, "We will root out opposition for the sake of opposition and create a National Assembly that must work," indicating his intention to swiftly handle contentious bills that had been delayed due to disagreements between the ruling and opposition parties.

He said, "Yesterday, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee's bill subcommittee finally passed the 'Media Arbitration Act,' a law to remedy damages caused by fake news," evaluating that "this marks the first step toward media reform to compensate the public harmed by fake news and to create a fair media ecosystem." He added, "We will also speed up the plenary committee and judiciary committee processing of the Media Arbitration Act and the Artist Rights Protection Act, which passed the bill subcommittee."
