The tentative wage agreement prepared by the labor and management of Korea GM (GM) was rejected in the union vote.
The Korea GM branch of the Korean Metal Workers' Union announced on the 27th that out of 6,727 union members who participated in the vote on the tentative wage agreement, 51.15% voted against it, resulting in its rejection.
The voter turnout was recorded at 88.1%, with 48.4% voting in favor and 0.41% invalid votes. The union plans to enter renegotiations with management in the future.
