[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Unification announced that the South and North held a closing call through the Inter-Korean Joint Liaison Office around 5 p.m. on the 27th.
With the restoration of the communication liaison line between the South and North earlier that morning, both sides agreed to have regular calls at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. every day.
The Ministry of Unification stated, "The South and North conducted the closing call as scheduled at around 5:02 p.m. today," adding, "Our liaison representative said, 'Thank you for your hard work today. Let's meet again tomorrow morning.'"
