[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam, announced on the 27th that it will distribute 3,580 COVID-19 self-test kits to entertainment establishments, including those frequented by a large number of foreigners.
This is to prevent COVID-19, following cases of cluster infections at entertainment facilities related to foreigners.
The city expects that testing with self-test kits will enable early detection of suspected COVID-19 cases and minimize contact.
However, self-test kits cannot replace PCR tests, so if symptoms appear or COVID-19 is suspected, individuals must immediately visit a screening clinic to receive a PCR test.
