[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan-gun (Governor Kim San) announced on the 27th that on the 23rd, a regular employment agreement ceremony was held with local companies in the governor's office to provide quality jobs to local youth and support a happy future for the youth.
This agreement signifies mutual cooperation in which companies employ youth interns from the region-led youth job project as regular employees and provide stable jobs.
The county decided to support incentives of up to 9 million KRW annually for up to 3 youth per company when companies hire youth as regular employees, and to this end, 60 million KRW in project funds will be invested to support participating companies.
Governor Kim San said, "This agreement is meaningful in establishing a public-private cooperation system to solve employment issues faced by youth in difficult circumstances due to COVID-19," and added, "We will continue to actively support youth so that they can settle stably in the region."
Meanwhile, a total of 66 companies participated in the youth job project supported by Muan-gun this year, through which 116 youth are working in stable workplaces.
