Hankom Group Signs Business Agreement with Sejong City for Smart City Development

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Hancom Group announced on the 27th that it has signed a business agreement with Sejong City to create a Sejong-type smart city.

Hancom Group plans to apply various solutions possessed by its group companies, such as mobility, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and aerospace, to Sejong City to build a differentiated smart city.

Sejong City plans to provide administrative support so that Hancom Group can achieve results through demonstrations in the drone special deregulation zone and autonomous vehicle pilot operation zone.

Kim Sangcheol, Chairman of Hancom Group, said, "By implementing the group's various ICT technologies in real life in Sejong City, a demonstration city for smart innovative technologies such as robots, drones, and autonomous driving, we hope to contribute to the completion of the Sejong-type smart city as well as regional economic growth."
