[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Online class platform Class101 (CEO Ko Ji-yeon) announced on the 27th that it has recruited Koo Hyun-seo, former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Amazon.

Former CTO Koo was a software engineer at Amazon headquarters, where he participated in the development of payment services and created large-scale business opportunities. Since 2016, he joined the global adtech company Moloco as Engineering Director, overseeing the entire Asia-Pacific business until recently, and is an expert in development who led the development of core products and service launches.

Based on his experience and expertise at Amazon and Moloco, CTO Koo will strengthen technological capabilities and carry out various tasks for Class101 to leap forward as a global platform capable of freely expanding into diverse categories. He will also be responsible for managing and operating the entire development workforce, establishing a structural foundation for systematic and stable organizational growth, while securing outstanding talent.
