Korean men's archery is one step closer to winning back-to-back Olympic team gold medals. The national team, consisting of Oh Jin-hyek (Hyundai Steel), Kim Woo-jin (Cheongju City Hall), and Kim Je-deok (Gyeongbuk Ilgo), defeated the Indian team of Atanu Das, Pravin Jadhav, and Dhanurjaya Lakra 6-0 (59-54 59-57 56-54) in the quarterfinals of the men's team event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics held at Yumenoshima Park Archery Field in Tokyo, Japan on the 26th. The match was decided in the second set, where the Korean team led 2-0 in set points. With the score tied at 29-29, all three Korean archers shot arrows into the 10-point ring. India failed to gain ground as their last arrow scored only 8 points. The Korean team will face Japan, who defeated the United States 5-1 in set points, at 3:17 PM for a spot in the final.
