[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk (Mayor Lee Hwan-joo) announced on the 26th that it will conduct special quarantine guidance and inspections at major recreational areas and hygiene establishments from the 24th of this month to the 16th of next month, coinciding with the summer vacation period.
This inspection aims to raise awareness among citizens and tourists visiting the representative recreational areas, Baemsagol Valley and Dalgung Valley in Sannae-myeon, by posting banners on the roads to strengthen social distancing publicity, creating an environment where citizens and tourists can safely enjoy water activities.
The city emphasized that to ensure safe water play, bodily fluids such as spitting and nose blowing should be avoided in water play areas, and acts that cause saliva droplets to scatter, such as singing or shouting, should be refrained from.
Additionally, to ensure the safe use by citizens and tourists, restaurants and lodging facilities are required to designate and operate quarantine managers, and promotional leaflets on daily disinfection methods and quarantine rules were produced and actively distributed.
Recently, proactive publicity efforts were made, including holding a meeting at the Sannae-myeon Administrative Welfare Center with representatives such as the Sannae-myeon village chiefs, the shopping district association president, the national park, and the police station.
The city plans to continue guiding and inspecting users to comply with quarantine guidelines in daily life, such as wearing masks, facility density, and social distancing.
A city official said, "We will further strengthen publicity to block COVID-19 community infections," and added, "We hope everyone can have an enjoyable summer by participating in quarantine practices such as following safety rules to protect themselves, their families, and others' health."
