[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Seohyun] Broadcaster Kim Eo-jun criticized the final sentencing of former Gyeongnam Governor Kim Kyung-soo, while former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon mocked him, saying, "The anger should be directed at former Governor Kim."
On the 25th, former Professor Jin shared an article titled "Angry Kim Eo-jun, Kim Kyung-soo Trial Panel 'Damn Bastards, So Annoying'" on Facebook and stated, "It's absurd for the one who farted to get angry, but it's even more ridiculous for the one who actually shat to be angry," criticizing Kim.
Earlier, on the 23rd, Kim said on the 171st episode of his YouTube channel 'Ddanji Broadcasting Station' Das Boeida, regarding the trial result of former Governor Kim, "I have known that person for quite a long time. He is not someone who would commit a crime," and added, "If he had done something wrong, he would be the first to confess."
Former Governor Kim was sentenced to two years in prison by the Supreme Court on the 22nd, losing his governorship and being stripped of his eligibility to run for office for five years after completing his sentence.
Kim said about the 2017 presidential election, in which former Governor Kim was involved in comment manipulation, "In fact, it was the official procedure for President Moon to become president, and everyone knew the election was over," and questioned, "Why would he secretly watch a poor program demonstration from Druking?"
During this, Kim expressed intense anger, saying, "Wow, these damn bastards are really annoying all of a sudden. It's ridiculous."
In February 2018, Kim further fueled suspicions of comment manipulation by demonstrating macros himself on SBS's 'Kim Eo-jun's Black House.' He even boasted, "I was the first to bring this case to public attention." Former Professor Jin's criticism seems to imply that since Kim was the first to raise suspicions about the case, it is inappropriate to blame the Supreme Court justices for the 'guilty' verdict.
Former Professor Jin sarcastically added, "Still, this time Eo-jun defended the constitution. Of course, unintentionally," followed by the German phrase meaning "All's well that ends well," "Ende gut, alles gut."
