[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] Kim Mi-ae, a member of the People Power Party, stated, "I am concerned about the conflict between former President Yoon Seok-yeol, Party Leader Lee Jun-seok, and some senior lawmakers."

On the 25th, Kim posted on her Facebook, saying, "This is not a trivial family quarrel; it is time to ensure thorough management of a fair primary election so that a synergy effect can be achieved through healthy competition."

She introduced, "Professor Park Ji-hyang of Seoul National University cited 'unity and loyalty' as the first among several factors that allowed the UK Conservative Party to be successful over 200 years in 'The Vitality of Political Parties.' He explained that the only political principle of the great statesman Disraeli, who led the Conservative Party from being mocked as a foolish party in the late 19th century to a people's party, was 'not to be divided.'"

She continued, "I agree that former President Yoon played a major role in shaping the current public opinion for regime change and is highly regarded as a presidential candidate. However, shaking the leadership cannot be tolerated. It is self-harm. What is this about petition letters? Are they trying to pressure by numbers?" she sharply criticized.

She added, "Line-ups are old practices, bad customs, and evils that go against reform and innovation," recalling, "Wasn't it a nightmare with pro-Lee and pro-Park factions?"

She also emphasized, "It has only been a month and ten days since the Lee Jun-seok leadership system was launched. We must not forget that just 40 days ago, it was under a caretaker system. The true owners of the People Power Party are not the party leader or some senior lawmakers but the party members and the public who desire regime change."

She said, "If former President Yoon ultimately intends to run under candidate number 2, there is no reason to hesitate to join the party. If the strategic judgment is that the party is a shackle hindering expansion, that is a misconception. The overwhelming victory in the recent Seoul and Busan by-elections proves this."

She added, "In the end, it is about the individual, and one must prove their qualifications themselves," writing, "Today, democracy without political parties is unimaginable, and modern representative democracy is realized through party politics. This is why joining the party is the right path."

Kim said, "Let us concentrate all the party's capabilities for regime change," and "A beautiful primary election will guarantee victory in the presidential election."
