The daily number of cases in Seoul rose to the 300s from the end of last month, and earlier this month, the highest records were broken twice with 583 cases on the 6th and 638 cases on the 13th.
The average daily number of cases from the 8th to the 22nd was 506, with an average of 68,164 tests conducted daily and an average positivity rate of about 0.7%.
The number of tests on the 22nd was 69,543, which was fewer than 72,452 on the 21st. As of 9 p.m. on the 23rd, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 61,113.
