This is 36 fewer than the 444 cases during the same time frame the previous day and 83 fewer than the 491 cases on the 16th. The total number of confirmed cases for the entire day was 520 on the 22nd and 562 on the 16th.

The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul rose to the 300s since the end of last month, and earlier this month, the highest records were broken twice with 583 cases on the 6th and 638 cases on the 13th. From the 8th to the 22nd of this month, the daily average number of confirmed cases was 506, the average number of tests per day was 68,164, and the average positivity rate was around 0.7%. On the 22nd, the number of tests conducted was 69,543, which was about 3,000 fewer than the 72,452 tests on the 21st.

As of 6 p.m. on this day, among the 408 new confirmed cases in Seoul, 4 were imported cases, and the remaining 404 were domestic infections.
