On the same day, Kim appeared on a radio broadcast and said, “Former Minister Chu supported the impeachment of President Roh Moo-hyun, was responsible for making former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl the No. 1 presidential candidate, and this time, by accusing ‘Druking,’ didn’t Governor Kim Kyung-soo have to resign?”

He added, “People around me say she is a suicide goal hat-trick player who scored three own goals: Roh’s impeachment, Yoon Seok-youl’s midwifery, and Kim Kyung-soo’s resignation. They criticize her as reckless and uncontrollable,” and said, “I think she should take responsibility for these matters.”

When the host asked if former Minister Chu should take responsibility by giving up her presidential bid, Kim replied, “It may not have been intentional, but there were many problems with her political judgment,” adding, “The judgment is up to former Minister Chu, but many party members and citizens think so.”

Regarding the opposition’s attack that President Moon Jae-in is also involved since Governor Kim was found guilty of conspiracy charges, Kim said, “The Druking case is related to the presidential election but unrelated to the president,” emphasizing, “No one believes this case affected the election results. Holding the president responsible is an unfair and excessive political offensive.”

He explained, “During presidential and general election periods, many election brokers come with proposals,” and added, “As Democratic Party leader Song Young-gil said, I understand that a person named Druking used Governor Kim.”
