[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Nanda Co., Ltd. announced on the 22nd that it has recruited designer Park Seung-geon of ‘Pushbutton’ as Creative Director (CD) to expand the overseas business of the fashion and beauty brand Stylenanda and strengthen design competitiveness. Starting from the 26th, Creative Director Park Seung-geon will oversee all creative aspects of Stylenanda and lead Nanda’s new leap forward.


Newly appointed CD Park Seung-geon launched the fashion brand Pushbutton in 2009 and has been leading the brand as CD ever since. He has consistently participated in Seoul Fashion Week since 2010, gaining attention in the fashion industry, and won the ‘Best Designer of the Year’ award at the 2017 S/S Hera Seoul Fashion Week.


He has presented collections three times at London Fashion Week and has also regularly appeared at Beijing and Shanghai Fashion Weeks. Pushbutton is sold at 90 stores worldwide, including overseas luxury select shops such as ▲Essence ▲Browns ▲Harvey Nichols ▲Net-a-Porter ▲Farfetch, as well as in Europe, the United States, and China.


Stylenanda chose designer Park Seung-geon to strengthen communication with the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) and expand overseas markets, following the vision of founder and former CD Kim So-hee. Stylenanda stated that they believed Park Seung-geon, who has continuously showcased unique fashion through Pushbutton, would be able to realize Stylenanda’s vision together.


CD Park Seung-geon will be responsible for the creative direction of Stylenanda’s fashion and beauty brand ‘3CE’ while continuing his activities as CD of Pushbutton. Since Stylenanda and 3CE are already global brands receiving great responses from consumers in Asia, including China, and Pushbutton has also been active on the overseas stage, Park Seung-geon’s overseas market experience is expected to play a multifaceted role.


CD Park Seung-geon said, “It is an honor to join Stylenanda, the first-generation domestic online fashion brand and leader in fashion beauty e-commerce. Based on the design capabilities and overseas business experience I have accumulated, I will contribute to Stylenanda’s leap into the global market.”

Meanwhile, Kim So-hee, the founder of Stylenanda who contributed to the brand’s global success for 17 years, recently resigned after preparing for over a year to recruit CD Park Seung-geon together.
