[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Actress Kim Bu-seon requested broadcaster Kim Eo-jun, saying, "I will not hold you legally responsible, so please disclose the entire recording of my interview related to Lee Jae-myung."

On the 19th, Kim Bu-seon posted on her social media (SNS), "After the interview with Kim Eo-jun (11 years ago), he said something like I met a ridiculous fraudster," and added, "Kim Eo-jun begged me to just tell him the name and, on the condition of non-disclosure, I mentioned Lee Jae-myung."

She further claimed, "Lee Jae-myung told me he was born in 1963, but Kim Eo-jun, driven by scoop greed, diluted it to 1964 and triggered a scandal."

The interview Kim Bu-seon referred to was published in the November 11, 2010 edition of The Hankyoreh newspaper under the column 'The Woman Kim Eo-jun Met.' Kim Eo-jun had previously mentioned the 'actress scandal,' saying, "(Kim Bu-seon) breathlessly warps into a story about her connection with a 'clean-skinned politician who is a former lawyer' she met just before the last presidential election."

In this interview, Kim Bu-seon revealed, "He said he was single, but his life story was really sad. Then we slept together. The next day, he hurriedly put on his clothes. It felt like the sky was falling. He was married."

Later, during the 2018 local election Gyeonggi Province governor TV debate, then Bareunmirae Party candidate Kim Young-hwan mentioned this scandal, bringing it into public discussion. At that time, Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung denied it, but Kim Bu-seon countered, "Lee Jae-myung threatened me to silence me, so I couldn't reveal it until now."

Meanwhile, Governor Lee has consistently denied the scandal with Kim.

Earlier, on the 14th, Lee appeared on CBS Kim Hyun-jung's News Show and said, "If someone claims a fact, it is impossible to prove that it is not true." He added, "Recently, there was a story that I called (Kim) on a rainy day saying, 'Don't go to President Roh Moo-hyun's funeral, come out and hang out,' but it did not rain in Korea that day. I verified this 2 to 3 years ago as well."
