[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Jeonnam Yeongam-gun Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center (Director Song Young-hee) announced on the 16th that it will operate various programs for family health at the center's training hall on the 13th and the upcoming 20th.

The father education program consists of a total of two sessions. The first session, held on the 13th, focused on understanding adolescent children, covering topics such as the characteristics of adolescence and understanding children through temperament. The second session, scheduled for the 20th, will focus on restoring relationships with children, including communication methods to enhance relationships, the importance of restoring relationships with children, and expressing emotions.

On the 13th, a human rights sensitivity education program was conducted at the center's training hall, covering topics such as equal spousal roles in multicultural families and specific prevention and response measures for domestic violence.

The human rights sensitivity education program reviewed the participants' multicultural family human rights sensitivity through checklists they completed, contributing to the formation of a sexually equal family culture within the home. Additionally, by solving human rights quizzes together, it served as an opportunity to improve social conventions and gender-discriminatory stereotypes.

Furthermore, for multicultural families in the area, a fruit homemade syrup making program, one of the multicultural relationship enhancement programs, was conducted to provide physical and mental relaxation exhausted by COVID-19.

A center official said, “Through this multicultural relationship enhancement program, we expect it will help overcome the upcoming summer well and wisely overcome the tired mind and body.”
