Namwon-si 'Village Teacher Education Program' Promotion

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Jeonbuk Namwon City (Mayor Lee Hwan-joo) and the Namwon Rural New Vitality Plus Promotion Group (Director Lim Young-ran) announced on the 15th that they will promote the ‘Village Teacher Education Program’ to create a happy Namwon together with youth as part of the Jirisan Village University Youth Regional Settlement Project.

This program is co-hosted by the Namwon Rural New Vitality Plus Promotion Group and the Jirisan Village Education Community Social Cooperative.

The Village Teacher Education Program is aimed at Namwon citizens who want to guide youth career activities based on the region and serve as mentors in various youth activity fields.

The recruitment number was 20, and due to the enthusiastic interest of Jirisan area residents in the village education community, the first-come, first-served recruitment has already closed.

The village teacher education will be held three times at Sallae Culture Center, a rural hub revitalization cultural space in Sannae-myeon, on the 19th and 26th of this month and one day next month.

The education content includes ▲ the meaning and role of the village education community ▲ the role of the guide teacher and project practice ▲ and advanced site visits.

This project was prepared to present a hopeful vision for regionally specialized jobs and future agriculture and rural areas to youth and early adults residing in the region.

Projects such as ▲ Jirisan Youth Vocational School ▲ Community Problem Solving School ▲ and preparation for establishing a youth-dedicated education support organization will also be carried out.

Meanwhile, the Namwon Rural New Vitality Plus Promotion Group will fully launch youth regional settlement education through Jirisan Village University.
