Lotte Food Signs MOU with Army Headquarters to Support Childbirth Welfare

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Foods announced on the 15th that it has signed a business agreement with the Army Headquarters to expand welfare support for the Army. This is aimed at contributing to boosting the morale of Army soldiers dedicated to national defense, and will provide childbirth welfare support such as Pasteur infant formula to Army families.

Starting August 1, Pasteur infant formula will be provided to families of Army officers expecting childbirth. Families can directly choose from Pasteur’s highest quality infant formulas made with antibiotic-free raw milk, such as With Mom and With Mom C-section. A congratulatory letter from the Army Chief of Staff will be enclosed for soldiers giving birth, and a satisfaction survey will be conducted, demonstrating careful consideration.

In addition, the Platinum Membership, which offers the largest discount benefits when using Lotte Food Mall, will be applied. Lotte Food Mall is Lotte Foods’ direct online store, selling a variety of life cycle tailored products for all ages, including infant formula, milk, baby food, home meal replacements (HMR), meat, ham, sausages, ice cream, coffee, nuts, and care food. Furthermore, various products from Lotte affiliates such as Lotte Confectionery (snacks), Lotte Chilsung (beverages), and Lotte Nestl? are also available, which is expected to provide great benefits to Army families.

Additionally, priority benefits will be provided during Pasteur promotions for baby food, live probiotics, and more. In the future, food support such as Rospam sets will be provided to families of soldiers deployed overseas or serving in border units, and cooperation will be gradually expanded by supplying products for various Army events. Lotte Foods has already gifted premium ham gift sets to encourage Army families working in the front-line remote areas.

Meanwhile, the Lotte Group is actively conducting support projects for military personnel. Last month, in commemoration of the Month of Patriots and Veterans, it offered free admission to Lotte World Adventure, supported the Proud Army Family Award, and provided scholarships. Lotte Foods is also participating in various group-level support projects, starting with support for establishing joint childcare sharing centers at military bases.

A Lotte Foods official said, “We will continue to expand various support projects and maintain a cooperative relationship,” adding, “We hope to contribute to boosting the morale of Army soldiers who are dedicated to national security.”
