[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] I-ONE S, a semiconductor and display ultra-precision cleaning and coating specialist company, has achieved its highest quarterly performance ever.
On the 14th, I-ONE S announced through a public disclosure that its operating profit for the second quarter of this year, based on consolidated financial statements, reached 9.1 billion KRW, an increase of 189.6% compared to the same period last year. During the same period, sales and net profit were 40.3 billion KRW and 7.5 billion KRW, respectively. On a cumulative basis for the first half of the year, operating profit reached 15.7 billion KRW and net profit 13.1 billion KRW.
A company official stated, “Sales increased due to the rise in order volumes from domestic and international clients, and profitability greatly improved thanks to cost reduction effects from manufacturing process improvements of our main products,” adding, “We expect strong performance to continue in the third quarter, the traditional peak season for the semiconductor industry, through diversification of clients and expansion of orders.”
