E-Land Welfare Foundation Supports Summer Relief with 'Honey Taste, Summer' Health Food Assistance

[Mokpo＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Kidong] Hadang Senior Welfare Center (Director Shin Seonghwa), under the social welfare corporation E-Land Welfare Foundation (Chairman Park Seonggyeong), announced on the 13th that it conducted the ‘Honey Taste, Summer’ health food support event for two days from the 7th to the 8th to help vulnerable elderly people have a safe summer.

This summer support ‘Honey Taste, Summer’ health food assistance was carried out with funds raised through the safe summer project, a basic living support campaign for vulnerable groups conducted by the E-Land Welfare Foundation. Love boxes consisting of beef bulgogi hot pot and white kimchi, which support the healthy diet of the elderly, were delivered to 50 single elderly households who would spend a lonely and hot summer.

Shin Seonghwa, director of Hadang Senior Welfare Center, said, “We thank the E-Land Welfare Foundation for supporting the sharing of health food for the safe summer of the elderly. At this time when continuous heavy rain requires securing the safety of the elderly, we will do our best to help them live safer and healthier lives.”

Hadang Senior Welfare Center has been operated by the social welfare corporation E-Land Welfare Foundation, entrusted by Mokpo City, since July 2005 as a senior leisure facility. Since 2020, through the senior customized care service project, it currently provides customized visiting services to about 1,200 elderly people.
