[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Daekyo announced on the 12th that it is recruiting participants for the social contribution campaign "Bbaksege Dokseo" (hereinafter referred to as "Bbakdok") to promote the spread of online reading culture.

The Bbakdok campaign, launched in 2018 to foster a reading society atmosphere, has consistently received positive responses from participants. Due to the impact of COVID-19, it has been operated in an online live format since last year.

This "Bbakdok" event will be held under the theme "Vacation or Bookcation, Bbakdok Excitement." Participants will share live moments of excitement through books and the joy of reading books while traveling together with "Booktubers," a combination of "Book" and "Youtuber."

In particular, this event, held on the "Bbakdok" YouTube channel, will be hosted by Gongbaek of the YouTube channel "Gongbaek's Book Arrangement." It also features a mini-lecture by film critic Lee Dongjin and a time for participants to communicate in real-time about books, making it a diverse program.

Those who wish to participate in the "Bbakdok" online event can apply through Bbakdok.com by the 23rd.

A Daekyo official said, "Starting this year, we plan to conduct the Bbakdok event with book celebrities so that participants can experience various ways to enjoy reading," adding, "Through this event, we will strive to increase interest in books and encourage participation in reading groups to promote a voluntary reading culture."
