Police summon active prosecutor for investigation on 'Fisheries Businessman Bribery Allegation'

According to the police on the 12th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Violent Crime Investigation Unit summoned Deputy Chief Prosecutor Lee (former Chief Prosecutor of Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office), who was booked on charges of violating the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, and investigated him for nearly 10 hours starting from the previous morning.

Earlier, the police had conducted a search and seizure of the office of Prosecutor Lee, who belonged to the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office. Prosecutor Lee is under investigation along with former Pohang Southern Police Station Chief Superintendent Bae, former Chosun Ilbo editorial writer Lee Dong-hoon, and TV Chosun anchor Eom Seong-seop. So far, a total of seven people are under police investigation.
