[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Krafton announced on the 9th that its new mobile title, 'Battlegrounds: NEW STATE,' has surpassed 20 million pre-registrations on Google Play.
This achievement came just one month after attracting 17 million pre-registrations worldwide through the alpha test conducted in the United States in June.
The game is a new mobile title that inherits and deepens the original battle royale experience of Battlegrounds, developed directly by PUBG Studio. It applies cutting-edge rendering technology based on PUBG Studio's technical expertise and development capabilities.
Battlegrounds: NEW STATE began pre-registration on Google Play for all regions worldwide except China, India, and Vietnam on February 25. Apple App Store pre-registration will start next month, with an official release planned within the year.
Krafton also released a new launch teaser video, featuring differentiated content and key features unique to Battlegrounds: NEW STATE. The full version of the video will be released later.
