[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Jang Se-wook, Vice Chairman of Dongkuk Steel, said on the 7th, "People who read the flow of change, internalize it themselves, and develop it into the organization's competitiveness are the driving force of Dongkuk Steel."
Vice Chairman Jang left this message on the company bulletin board on the occasion of the company's 67th anniversary. He said, "Individual growth and development are the foundation for creating a sustainable company," adding, "Even amid changes such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, we must not stop reform and improvement to build a sustainable company."
Recently, due to the spread of COVID-19, the company held a 'small' anniversary ceremony without large gatherings, distributing long-term service awards separately by each business site or responsible executive. The in-house volunteer group delivered 160 DK Happy Boxes containing summer supplies to children's centers and social welfare centers nationwide.
