Hyundai Construction Equipment Launches In-House Press Corps to Strengthen Internal Communication

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Hyundai Construction Equipment has launched an in-house press corps to activate internal communication.


Hyundai Construction Equipment announced on the 6th that it held a meeting combined with the launch ceremony of the in-house press corps at its Bundang headquarters on the 5th. A total of eight people attended the meeting, including Gong Gi-Young, CEO of Hyundai Construction Equipment, and members of the in-house press corps from the Bundang headquarters.


The attendees enjoyed pizza and drinks while listening to explanations about the significance of launching the in-house press corps and its operational plans, and had a free discussion about questions and support related to their activities.

The in-house press corps consists of 12 members from six divisions?Industrial Vehicle Division, R&D Division, Sales Division, Management Division, Safety Production Division, and Quality Division?as well as five overseas subsidiaries in China, India, Atlanta, Belgium, and Brazil, and Hyundai Core Motion. Going forward, they will play a role in informing the company about the activities of their respective organizations and discovering external promotional materials.


In particular, the in-house press corps is composed of various ranks from manager to senior manager, which is expected to lead active communication between generations and serve as a bridge to break down barriers between divisions and subsidiaries, thereby promoting internal communication.


CEO Gong said, "The in-house press corps is not only a channel for sharing company news but also an important pathway to catch employees' needs. Please take pride in representing your organization and do your best to activate communication within your department and boost employee pride."
