'Co-Growth with Startups' Senior Company Supports 3rd-Year Startup, Secures 5 Billion KRW Investment

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] A startup in its third year at Seoul Campus Town has succeeded in attracting an investment of 5 billion KRW with support from a senior company.

According to Seoul City on the 6th, the company that succeeded in attracting this investment is SuhoIO, a startup founded by software security experts, providing the smart contract automatic analysis service "Odin" to domestic and international companies.

SuhoIO succeeded in attracting 5 billion KRW in investment from the game company Wemade Tree and plans to use it for workforce expansion and technology development. Behind SuhoIO's successful investment attraction was the support from the senior company AIO Korea.

Baek Jae-hyun, CEO of AIO Korea, which has grown into a leading company in Anam Campus Town, held a regular seminar for the "Networking Program" last October to connect investors and junior innovative companies with the purpose of fostering junior startups. SuhoIO, which participated in this program, was introduced to venture capitalists (VCs) and received advice for attracting investment, which laid the foundation for successful investment attraction.

Park Ji-soo, CEO of SuhoIO, said, "We will continue to build development infrastructure so that more companies can easily create secure blockchain apps, and we are pleased to be able to share this journey with Wemade Tree, who recognized our potential." He added, "Having received great help from Campus Town support from startup to investment, we will grow into a senior company that can share the help received through networking between senior and junior companies."

Meanwhile, Anam-dong Campus Town, where SuhoIO has grown, operates various programs to strengthen the capabilities of startups, including regular seminars composed of investment attraction and networking programs, startup practical education, mentoring, and ongoing expert advisory programs.
