[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 2nd that it will operate a Kota Kinabalu-themed international sightseeing flight in cooperation with the Malaysia Tourism Board on the 25th.
Kota Kinabalu is the fourth selected travel destination following Hong Kong, Osaka, and Okinawa. Since last year, Jin Air has been operating themed international sightseeing flights to major popular overseas travel destinations to provide customers with differentiated travel experiences.
The Kota Kinabalu-themed international sightseeing flight will depart from Incheon International Airport at 12:40 PM on the 25th, fly via Daegu → Busan → Japanese airspace, and arrive back at Incheon Airport at 2:30 PM.
To commemorate the operation of the international sightseeing flight, Jin Air will hold an in-flight event offering round-trip tickets between Incheon and Kota Kinabalu, local hotel and cruise vouchers valid until March 25, 2023. All passengers on the flight will receive a Jin Air goods set.
Tickets for the Kota Kinabalu-themed international sightseeing flight are available for reservation from the 2nd via the Jin Air website, mobile web, and app.
A Jin Air official stated, "Various duty-free shopping benefits such as membership upgrades and reward points provided by Shinra, Lotte, and Shinsegae duty-free shops, as well as the in-flight duty-free shop, are also available."
