Participated as the Representative of the Distribution Logistics Platform in the MyData Demonstration Service Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Mesh Korea (CEO Yoo Jung-beom), operator of 'Boorung,' announced on the 1st that it will participate as a leading distribution logistics platform company in the financial sector of the government-led MyData demonstration service support project. Through this, the company plans to actively support platform workers who have had difficulties proving their income to receive various financial benefits in the future.
Mesh Korea will jointly carry out a project to improve the credit and financial health of distribution logistics platform workers together with Shinhan Card, selected as the financial sector task performer in the '2021 MyData Demonstration Service Support Project' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Specifically, Mesh Korea will provide income information data of Boorung riders who have given voluntary consent during the process of building a MyData platform for income integration and credit evaluation of platform workers led by Shinhan Card. In the future, within the established MyData platform, riders will be able to check their income information and credit scores in real time and receive benefits from personalized financial products.
Kim Myung-hwan, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Mesh Korea, said, "We will provide Boorung riders' data for this demonstration project through a legitimate consent process," adding, "The accumulated income information will not only be used for developing various financial products for platform workers but also serve as fundamental data for national policy formulation, which is very meaningful." Kim CTO further emphasized, "As a leading platform company in the distribution logistics sector, Mesh Korea will spare no effort to improve the working environment and treatment of platform workers alongside technological innovation."
