[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 1st that it will begin pre-orders for the 'The New Santa Fe' hybrid.
The Santa Fe hybrid offers high fuel efficiency with a combined fuel economy of 15.3 km/ℓ (5-seater, 17-inch wheels, 2WD standard).
The Santa Fe hybrid combines a Smartstream turbo hybrid engine with a maximum output of 180 PS (horsepower) and maximum torque of 27.0 kgf·m, and a drive motor with a maximum output of 44.2 kW and maximum torque of 264 Nm, delivering a system maximum output of 230 PS and system maximum torque of 35.7 kgf·m.
In EV mode, which drives only with the drive motor without engine intervention at low speeds, it secures excellent interior quietness, providing passengers with a comfortable driving experience.
The Santa Fe hybrid is offered in three trims: ‘Exclusive’, ‘Prestige’, and ‘Calligraphy’.
The selling prices are set within the ranges of 35,570,000 to 36,070,000 KRW for Exclusive, 38,110,000 to 38,610,000 KRW for Prestige, and 42,710,000 to 43,210,000 KRW for Calligraphy. (Based on a 3.5% individual consumption tax before tax benefits; final prices will be disclosed at the time of the official contract)
Hyundai Motor Company is conducting an event where the first 1,500 customers who pre-order the Santa Fe hybrid will receive a ‘Car+Picnic (Car+Picnic) kit’ made of eco-friendly materials for car camping and picnics, including a folding box, cart, and cooling bag.
