Added O4O Features Including Barcode Payment and Club Operations to Existing Benefits

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Mart announced on the 1st that it will hold events at all stores to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the launch of the offline-exclusive application 'Lotte Mart GO'.


Lotte Mart stated that to commemorate the 6th anniversary of 'Lotte Mart GO', various discounts on food and kitchenware will be offered at all stores until the 14th.


The app was first introduced in 2015 as the discount coupon-exclusive app 'M Coupon' and currently has about 3 million registered customers. In January, it was renewed as 'Lotte Mart GO' by adding new features and benefits such as weekly new 'Lotte Mart GO exclusive discount products,' barcode scan payment, shopping memo, and 'club' operations along with existing discounts and additional L.Point accumulation benefits.


Lotte Mart aims to enhance customer experience by making offline store shopping more enjoyable and convenient through the strengthened O4O (Online for Offline) functions of 'Lotte Mart GO,' encouraging customers to visit stores on their own.


Lotte Mart has prepared six categories of discount events. Until the 7th, 'Jirisan Sun牛han Korean Beef and Gangwon Korean Beef Sirloin (each 100g, frozen)' will be sold at a 35% discount, and 'Antibiotic-Free Jirisan Sun牛han Korean Beef Gomtang 3 types' at a 30% discount. 'Snow Crab (100g, refrigerated, Russian origin)' will be offered at a 10% discount, and 'Dried Yellow Croaker (1.4Kg, 20 pieces, frozen, domestic)' at a 40% discount. Air-flown 'Washington Cherries (650g, pack, U.S. origin)' will be available for 10,980 KRW, 'John Cook Deli Meat Kielbasa Sausage (270g)' and 'Handmade Assorted Sausages (1Kg)' will be priced at 4,980 KRW and 8,000 KRW respectively.


For those preparing for the first hot day of summer (Chobok) on the 11th, from the 1st to the 7th, 'Chicken for Baeksuk,' 'Animal Welfare Chicken for Braised Chicken and Baeksuk,' and 'Retort Samgyetang' planned products will be offered as 'Lotte Mart GO' discount items.


Until the 14th, there will also be discounts on kitchenware and tableware such as pressure cookers and pots. There is also an L.Point accumulation event for L.Point members. Until the 3rd, when paying with L.Pay at Lotte Mart stores, customers will earn five times the basic accumulation rate of L.Points.


Meanwhile, to coincide with this 6th anniversary event, Lotte Mart has newly opened the 'Health Banallim' club for customers interested in health-related products and will offer a 30% discount on health products exclusive to club members until the 31st. The 'club' is a customer-tailored benefit system that provides shopping benefits from Lotte Mart according to customers’ lifestyles or preferences. Membership registration and benefit usage are available through 'Lotte Mart GO.' In addition to 'Health Banallim,' clubs for wine, pets, and childcare are currently operating.

We will continuously add and improve functions and introduce various benefits so that customers visiting Lotte Mart stores can enjoy more convenience and greater benefits than before."
