Incheon TP-Inha University Join Forces to Train VR·AR Industry Professionals

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) and Inha University are joining forces to cultivate practical talents in virtual and augmented reality (VR·AR).

On the 30th, according to the two institutions, Incheon TP's 'Incheon VR·AR Production Hub Center' infrastructure, including facilities and equipment, will be linked with Inha University's Future Talent Development Institute's core practical training for digital new technologies to nurture trainees needed in the industrial field.

The Future Talent Development Institute currently operates educational programs such as VR·AR 3D game graphic designer, big data utilization game planning expert, and AR artificial intelligence game program development courses.

Incheon TP and Inha University will also systematically support trainees' job competency improvement and employment after completion through monitoring and feedback of training courses for cultivating core practical talents in digital new technologies, employment support, and mentoring.

The two institutions aim to cultivate core personnel in the VR·AR content production field who can be immediately deployed to the industrial site through the operation of practice-oriented educational courses.

An Incheon TP official stated, "Due to the rapid growth of the VR·AR industry, the demand for specialized personnel is greatly increasing," and added, "We will strive to help alleviate companies' manpower shortages through collaboration with Inha University."
