[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jongno-gu (District Mayor Kim Young-jong) will hold the 2021 Yun Dong-ju Literary Festival Award-winning Works Exhibition "Walking the Path with Dong-ju" at the Yun Dong-ju Literature Museum (119 Changuimun-ro) until August 15.
The award-winning works on display this time were selected from the 7th National Yun Dong-ju Creative Music Festival and the 8th National Youth Yun Dong-ju Poetry and Painting Contest held in April, consisting of 4 award-winning songs from the creative music festival and 30 award-winning poetry and painting works.
Especially this year, among Yun Dong-ju's poems, the works themed on "A New Path," "Mountain Stream," "Spring" (written in 1942), and "Morning," which express the bright and hopeful days the poet dreamed of, were selected as award-winning works, making it even more meaningful.
The exhibition is presented in an analog format and a digital format using creative song performance videos and videos containing audio recordings of poetry recitations by middle and high school students, allowing visitors to enjoy the works more vividly and offering a variety of attractions.
Additionally, for citizens who find it difficult to visit in person, the award-winning 4 songs and 30 poetry and painting works can be viewed as background videos on the Jongno Cultural Foundation's YouTube channel, allowing easy access from anywhere.
For more details about the exhibition, inquiries can be made through the Jongno Cultural Foundation website or the Yun Dong-ju Literature Museum.
Meanwhile, the district held the Yun Dong-ju Literary Festival around the Yun Dong-ju Literature Museum on June 5 and 6, where visitors enjoyed the poet's literary works and music and participated in various experiential programs, receiving great responses.
District Mayor Kim Young-jong said, "We ask for your great interest in the exhibition of award-winning works from the Yun Dong-ju Literary Festival, where you can appreciate the beautiful poems of poet Yun Dong-ju expressed through songs and paintings, and reflect on the spirit of love for the nation."
