[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Starting from the 1st of next month, paper certificates and vaccination stickers that can prove COVID-19 vaccination status will also be issued at community service centers.
On the 29th, the COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team announced the three types of vaccination proof documents (paper certificate, electronic certificate, vaccination sticker) available for COVID-19 vaccine recipients and the methods of issuance and use, in accordance with the changed quarantine rules starting in July.
The paper certificate contains personal information of the vaccinated person, vaccine name, dose number, vaccination date, and vaccination period. It can be issued online or on-site at vaccination centers, designated medical institutions, and public health centers.
The electronic certificate can be issued by installing the 'COOV app' on a smartphone and completing identity verification. Vaccination stickers can be obtained by visiting a community service center and are affixed to the back of an ID card.
