On the 29th, Kim Do-eup, chairman of the People Power Party's Policy Committee, stated, "The Policy Committee plans to hold a public participation policy contest to develop presidential election pledges," adding, "The contest topics will cover all fields including politics, economy, society, culture, and diplomacy."


Chairman Kim said, "All citizens who want to change the Republic of Korea through the People Power Party can participate," and explained, "The policy contest will select the final policy proposals through preliminary screening, main screening, and final screening, including policy presentations."


He added, "We plan to actively support the awardees' policy proposals so that they can serve as the foundation for our party's presidential pledges." Furthermore, he promised, "The winners will be invited to participate in future presidential pledge development activities as part of the party's talent recruitment."


Additionally, the National Policy Planning Group will also be recruited. Chairman Kim said, "Although there has been virtually no activity until now, we plan to recruit the National Policy Committee through an open call following the National Representatives," and added, "We hope many citizens will apply so that the National Policy Committee can convey field opinions and become a platform for various policy proposals and policy development representing the people's thoughts."


Previously, the People Power Party gained nationwide attention by holding the spokesperson selection debate battle 'I am Gukdae.' The competition has currently reached the quarterfinals, and the final will be held on the 5th of next month.
