386 Confirmed Cases in Tokyo

According to NHK, as of 6 PM that day, 1,283 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed across Japan. This is a slight decrease compared to 1,307 cases reported a week earlier on the 20th. As a result, Japan's cumulative confirmed cases reached 796,315.
There were 10 additional COVID-19 related deaths that day, bringing the total to 14,688.
In Tokyo, where the Tokyo Olympics will be held next month, 386 new cases were added, an increase of 10 compared to a week ago.
