[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Samsung C&T Corporation's construction division has been selected as the contractor for the Myeongnyun 2 Reconstruction Project in Dongnae-gu, Busan, valued at approximately 189 billion KRW.
According to Samsung C&T on the 27th, the Myeongnyun 2 Reconstruction Association held a general meeting to select the contractor and finalized Samsung C&T as the contractor.
The Myeongnyun 2 Reconstruction project involves developing an apartment complex consisting of six buildings with 501 units, ranging from three basement floors to 28 above-ground floors, located at 702-47 Myeongnyun-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan. The construction cost is about 189 billion KRW.
This complex is located in the immediate vicinity of Myeongnyun Station on Busan Metro Line 1. It is also close to Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, a cinema, and Oncheoncheon, providing excellent living convenience facilities.
Samsung C&T proposed "Raemian Mark the Suite" as the new complex name. It is a compound word combining "Mark," meaning aristocrat or prestigious family, and "Suite," referring to the highest-grade space in a hotel.
Samsung C&T is known to have gained support from association members by offering differentiated products such as community specialization including a sky lounge, unique exterior design, premium interior, and specialized landscaping.
Over the past 10 years, Samsung C&T has participated in a total of six maintenance projects in Busan. In the Dongnae-gu area where the Myeongnyun 2 Reconstruction project site is located, they have successfully sold Raemian Jangjeon and Dongnae Raemian I'Park and are preparing to supply Raemian Forestige (Oncheon 4 Redevelopment).
A Samsung C&T official stated, "We will do our best to become the best partner for the Myeongnyun 2 Reconstruction project based on Raemian's differentiated products and brand power."
