Chairperson Jeon Hyun-hee has recused herself from this duty again, and accordingly, Standing Commissioner Kim Tae-eung will lead the entire operation as the head of the investigation team.
Previously, on the 21st, the Commission began a full investigation into members of the National Assembly from five minor parties: the Justice Party, Open Democratic Party, People’s Party, Basic Income Party, and Transition Korea. However, regarding the People Power Party, the Commission pointed out that some consent forms for providing personal information were missing and stated that the investigation would be postponed until these were supplemented.
