The official said, "The relevant consulate has notified about the accident and issued a warning to Korean nationals, including Korean Americans, to avoid approaching the accident site," adding, "We are also checking for any possible additional casualties."
Earlier, in Surfside, Miami-Dade County, Florida, a 12-story luxury apartment building located by the beach collapsed, resulting in one death and over ten injuries. About 40 people were rescued, but the whereabouts of 99 people remain unknown.
