With the government's housing regulations and the prolonged low-interest rate environment, officetels or real estate priced below 100 million KRW, regardless of the number of houses owned, are gaining attention. According to data from the Korea Real Estate Board, the transaction volume of officetels in 2020 was 161,642 units, an increase of 7.8% compared to 149,878 units in 2019. The increase in transactions is attributed to the expectation of higher returns compared to savings and deposits, based on stable rental income.


Amid this trend, the 'Raonji Officetel' in West Suwon, which is attracting high interest from investors, is currently being sold successfully.
