It delivered essential information that parents must know and practice, receiving great responses.

The training content focused on the background of the introduction of the high school credit system based on understanding the core competencies required for future society, the direction of the changing college admission system, and the roles of students and parents in preparing accordingly. It also provided guidance on the major changes in the high school curriculum.

The latter part of the training was conducted as a Q&A session, providing an opportunity to resolve questions about the high school credit system, evaluation system, and improvements in the college admission system.

A parent who attended the briefing said, “The high school credit system seems to be a policy for all children, not just to identify the top 1%.” They added, “It was a meaningful time to thoroughly understand the concept and preparation for the high school credit system, which is currently gaining much attention, along with the thought that we should trust and understand our children more.”

Meanwhile, Jangheung High School is a research school for the high school credit system and has been steadily working to serve as a guide for students’ career and college admission paths by operating customized college admission support programs, such as inviting admission officers and admission consultants related to universities and departments that students usually wish to enter.
