Jinhung Enterprise and Hyosung Heavy Industries to Launch 'Hyosung Harrington Place Sangmuyok' for Sale in July

- Basement 2 to 20 floors above ground, 7 buildings, exclusive area 84·119㎡, total 373 households

In July, Hyosung's first 'Harrington Place' brand apartment is set to be unveiled in Gwangju.


Jinhung Corporation and Hyosung Heavy Industries announced that they will launch 'Hyosung Harrington Place Sangmu Station' in the Seogu district of Gwangju Metropolitan City in July. The complex will consist of 7 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 20 floors above ground, with a total of 373 units of 84㎡ and 119㎡ exclusive area.


In particular, it is expected to attract high interest from buyers as it is a 'Harrington Place' brand apartment built on the site of the former Seonam University Hospital, a key location in the region.


The area where 'Hyosung Harrington Place Sangmu Station' is being developed is located in the center of Seogu and offers close access to various infrastructures such as transportation, education, and daily life, making it a highly preferred residential area. Moreover, several major development projects are planned around the site, which will further increase its residential value.


The complex is situated within walking distance of Sangmu Station on Gwangju Metro Line 1, providing excellent transit access. Notably, with the scheduled opening of Metro Line 2 in 2023, 'Hyosung Harrington Place Sangmu Station' is expected to become the only transfer station complex in Seogu.


Travel by car is also convenient. The complex is adjacent to Seogwangju-ro and Sangmu-daero, allowing easy access to the 2nd Ring Road, which facilitates movement throughout Gwangju and to neighboring areas. It is also close to KTX Gwangju Songjeong Station and Gwangju Airport, providing a comprehensive regional transportation network.


Shopping and cultural facilities such as Lotte Mart, CGV, Megabox, and the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center, as well as administrative facilities including Gwangju Metropolitan City Hall, Gwangju Family Court, and the Western Education Support Office, are concentrated in the nearby Sangmu district, offering various conveniences within close reach.


The educational environment is excellent. Numerous elementary, middle, and high schools such as Sangmu Elementary School, Sangmu Middle School, Chipyeong Middle School, Jeonnam High School, and Sangmu High School are within walking distance. The Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center, equipped with a library and swimming pool, is also nearby. Especially, the concentration of academies in the Sangmu district is expected to receive strong positive responses from families with children.


Located at the foot of Baekseoksan Mountain, 'Hyosung Harrington Place Sangmu Station' offers abundant green spaces including Uncheon Reservoir, one of the three major lake parks in Seogu, as well as 5.18 Freedom Park, Sangmu Citizens Park, Peace Park, and the 5.18 Memorial Park, allowing residents to enjoy a pleasant living environment in the city.


The complex also stands out as a beneficiary of various nearby development projects.


Right next to the complex, Maruk Park, spanning approximately 226,000㎡, is planned to be developed through a private park special project. Additionally, with the recent final selection of the Sangmu district as a leading project for the Urban Convergence Special Zone, this area is expected to transform into the 'Second Pangyo.'


Gwangju Metropolitan City announced plans to establish a corporate growth support center, innovation venture town, AI drone business, autonomous vehicle complex, and 5G-based ICT industrial zone in the Sangmu district by 2025. Upon completion, it is expected to create 10,000 innovative jobs and attract a large influx of population.


A sales official stated, "The site of the former Seonam University Hospital, which had been left unused for a long time, is considered a prime location in the region," adding, "Since this is the first 'Harrington Place' brand apartment introduced in Gwangju, we have paid meticulous attention to everything from product design to landscaping."


The model house for 'Hyosung Harrington Place Sangmu Station,' which will be launched in July, is currently under construction in Seogu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
