Dating App Created by Marriage Information Company, Newly Reborn 'HiLounge' [Gayun Marriage Information Co., Ltd.]

Marriage information company Gayeon is launching a new social dating app called ‘HiLounge’.

HiLounge is an upgraded version of Match Korea, a dating app developed and operated by Gayeon since 2018, emphasizing serious and safe meetings for single men and women seeking connections.

Starting from June, HiLounge has been offering new services by strengthening the existing identity verification system and utilizing a thorough member management system. In addition to the basic registered profile information, users who can verify their occupation, income, and education receive a certification badge, which can be highlighted as an appeal point to the opposite sex. If users submit appropriate documents proving an annual salary above a certain amount, ownership of real estate, or luxury vehicles, they are automatically granted a VVIP badge upon certification completion.

On the newly established anonymous board, users can share casual stories about daily life topics such as dating concerns, pets, and popular restaurants. Through free conversations, users can form empathy and find like-minded partners.

Profile recommendations are provided three times a day (11:30 AM, 5:30 PM, and 8:30 PM), showing a total of five ideal matches tailored to the user’s profile and preferences, delivering a special excitement.

Additionally, the ‘Safe Number Service,’ which allows users to make calls with a virtual number for one week, and the ‘Acquaintance Block Function,’ which blocks all contacts registered on the user’s phone within the app, continue to be offered free of charge.

Kim Yong-beom, Executive Director of Gayeon’s E-Business Division, stated, “Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, opportunities for actual offline meetings have greatly decreased. As demand and attention for non-face-to-face dating apps that allow communication with many people have increased, we are continuously improving to prevent any potential side effects.”

He added, “We have strengthened the verification process to ensure users’ identities and expanded appeal functions for VVIPs. We have revamped the app to enable better meetings through more diverse methods.”

Meanwhile, the newly launched dating app ‘HiLounge’ by marriage information company Gayeon is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
