17 Promising Startups Participating, Including New Investment Companies and KIPO-Recommended Firms
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund announced on the 24th that it will hold an online investment attraction briefing session, 'YouConnect Demo Day,' to provide investment opportunities for innovative startups.
The event will be held over three days: the 24th, 29th, and 30th of this month. On the 24th, six promising companies directly invested in by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund will participate; on the 29th, four companies engaged in the Korean New Deal recommended by the Korean Intellectual Property Office will participate; and on the 30th, seven startups selected as First Penguin in the first half of this year will participate, totaling 17 companies presenting IR pitches.
Companies participating in the IR presentations will receive feedback through evaluations by a professional judging panel, and outstanding companies will be selected to receive the right to participate in the YouConnect Special Series held at the end of the year.
In particular, this event will be simultaneously broadcast not only on YouTube but also on Unicorn Live, a demo day streaming service, encouraging greater participation from startup stakeholders and the public through real-time Q&A sessions between companies and investors and the operation of a public voting group. Additionally, an event will be held to provide various prizes through a raffle for those who participate in the voting.
A representative of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund stated, "We will actively support investment attraction for excellent startups through collaboration with various related organizations and strive to revitalize the startup ecosystem."
