[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] 11st announced on the 24th that the YouTube video of the ‘2021 Hope Shopping Campaign,’ created to promote support activities for abandoned and companion animals this year, has surpassed 20 million views.
11st is conducting a year-round campaign to improve awareness of companion animals and encourage adoption of abandoned animals in collaboration with Animal Freedom Union. Through 11st’s official YouTube channel ‘11TV,’ they are promoting the support activities with singer Lee Seung-yoon, the Hope Shopping model. The first video released in February has accumulated 10.3 million views, and the second video released this month surpassed 10 million views within two weeks.
On the 22nd, 11st held Lee Seung-yoon’s Hope Again concert and exclusively released the video. After the concert started, about 6,000 viewers joined and actively responded with real-time comments, and the video views approached 50,000 within a day of release.
Lee Seung-yoon said, “It was truly meaningful to participate in the 11st Hope Shopping Campaign, and since the theme of the campaign is by no means light, I approached it with a sense of responsibility and seriousness,” adding, “If anyone is considering adopting an abandoned animal through this campaign, I hope they do so with the mission to take full responsibility for a life and proceed carefully.”
A 11st official stated, “Thanks to the active empathy and participation of customers in the Hope Shopping Campaign conducted by 11st in the first half of this year, many abandoned and companion animals have been able to live new lives,” and added, “In the second half of the year, we will consider and introduce various hope activities that more customers can easily participate in.”
