On the 23rd, Kim Jae-won, Supreme Council Member of the People Power Party, appeared on TBS Radio's News Factory and said regarding Chairman Choi's presidential candidacy rumors, "He is truly an excellent person who has performed his public duties with strict neutrality, but since he was oppressed, if this administration continues like this, the whole country will be ruined. So, he thinks he must step up to stop this administration from continuing."

Political circles are closely watching every move of Chairman Choi, focusing on the possibility of his presidential bid. It was even reported that Chairman Choi was scheduled to visit Gwangju Veterans Hospital, and the cancellation of this visit became news.

Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, said on BBS Buddhist Broadcasting's Morning Journal with Park Kyung-soo, "President Yoon Seok-youl was effectively forced out, whereas Chairman Choi voluntarily stepped down," adding, "Being forced out and voluntarily leaving a position are somewhat different cases, and in any case, the evaluation of this will be made by the people."

While former President Yoon left involuntarily, Chairman Choi is said to have resigned voluntarily.
