[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Foods announced on the 23rd that the third subscription service of ‘I.Dal.Meok (What to Eat This Month)’ conducted on its official online mall ‘Lotte Food Mall’ sold out all 200 prepared units within two days of opening.
The ‘I.Dal.Meok’ subscription service is a food curation service that allows customers to receive various Lotte Foods products at a fixed subscription price at a set time each month. The first I.Dal.Meok service held in September 2020 and the second service held in December 2020 both sold out all prepared units of 100 and 200, respectively.
This third subscription service accepted applications from 200 people starting the morning of the 21st through Lotte Food Mall, Lotte Foods’ official online mall, and was completely sold out by the afternoon of the 22nd. The products will be shipped every third Wednesday from July to September. Subscribers can enjoy various Lotte Foods products at a monthly subscription price of 14,600 KRW, which is about 50% off the regular price. A key advantage of this third I.Dal.Meok service is that subscribers can directly choose the composition of the products they receive.
A Lotte Foods representative said, “Due to the enthusiastic response from consumers, the fourth subscription recruitment for I.Dal.Meok (What to Eat This Month) is planned for the second half of this year,” adding, “As a comprehensive food company, we plan to expand categories such as coffee and snacks in the future.”
