[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol responded to the so-called 'Yoon Seok-yeol X-file' by saying, "If the ruling party and public institutions were involved in its creation, it would be illegal surveillance." In response, the Blue House stated, "There is no related position."

A Blue House official told reporters on the 22nd, "We came across the related content in the news flash," and made this statement.

The official said, "There is no related position," and when asked by reporters whether the Blue House conducted personnel verification regarding allegations involving Yoon's wife and mother-in-law at the time of his appointment, replied, "We are not aware of the extent to which the verification was conducted."

Regarding North Korean Workers' Party Vice Director Kim Yo-jong's rebuttal of U.S. White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan's comment on an 'interesting signal' as "interpretation beyond the dream," the official said, "There was no room to issue a position" and indicated that there is unlikely to be any position issued in the future as well.
