On the same day, through his spokesperson, former Prosecutor General Yoon said, "I have nothing to be ashamed of when facing the public, and if I did, I would not have withstood attacks over the past eight years."
The source-unknown malicious document mentioned by former Prosecutor General Yoon refers to the so-called 'Yoon Seok-yeol X-file.' According to Jang Seong-cheol, director of the Gonggam and Nonjaeng Policy Center, who is known to have obtained this document, the X-file contains about 20 allegations concerning not only former Prosecutor General Yoon personally but also his wife and mother-in-law. It is reported that the document includes specific details such as amounts of money involved.
Former Prosecutor General Yoon said, "Do not engage in political manipulation with source-unknown malicious documents. If it is the truth, please disclose the content, evidence, and source." He added, "Therefore, the truth must be revealed, and responsibility must be clearly taken for the spread of false information and illegal surveillance."
