Professor Kim Jong-won of Dong-Eui University Department of Information Management wins Best Paper Awards simultaneously from the Korean Society of Management Information Systems and the Korean Society of Industrial Information Systems

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Kim Jong-won of Dong-Eui University simultaneously received the Best Paper Award from two domestic academic societies.

Dong-Eui University (President Han Su-hwan) announced on the 22nd that Professor Kim Jong-won of the Department of Information Management, majoring in Management Information Systems, received the Best Paper Award from the Korean Society of Management Information Systems and the Best Paper Award from the Korean Society of Industrial Information at the "2021 Spring Joint Conference on Management Information" held at the Utop Marina Hotel in Yeosu, Jeonnam, from June 17 to 19.

This academic conference was hosted by the Korean Society of Management Information Systems and jointly participated by the Korean Society of Industrial Information, the Korean Society of Internet Electronic Commerce, and the Korean Society of Information Systems, conducted both online and offline under the theme "Post-COVID-19 Era and Digital Inclusion."

Professor Kim, along with Professor Lee Kyu-tae of Sogang University and Professor Josh of the University of Missouri-St.Louis, presented a paper titled "The Impact of Teams Composed of Innovators and Innovators Within Teams on Individuals' Dynamics of New Technology Use," receiving the Best Paper Award from the Korean Society of Management Information Systems.

Additionally, Professor Kim, together with Professor Kim Dae-gil of Seoul Women's University, presented a paper on "The Impact of Perceived Benefits of University Online Class Systems Due to COVID-19 on Satisfaction and Loyalty," earning the Best Paper Award from the Korean Society of Industrial Information.

Professor Kim Jong-won currently serves as the Vice President of the Korean Society of Management Information Systems and has held external positions such as President of the Korean Society of Information Systems in 2018, President of the Korean Society of Industrial Information in 2019, and President of the Korean Society of Internet Electronic Commerce in 2020.

Professor Kim has served as the Dean of the Graduate School of Business and the Dean of the College of Commerce at Dong-Eui University. He has published over 70 papers in renowned domestic and international academic journals, including SSCI, SCI, and SCOPUS journals, and authored seven books related to business administration.
